Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society Rajasthan
The Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society was established in 1980 to preserve and promote the ideals and legacy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, honoured with the highest civilian award of India, Bharat Ratna and was the chief architect of the Constitution of India. Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life for securing justice, equality, and human dignity for the oppressed, marginalized, and socially disadvantaged sections of Indian society, particularly the Scheduled Castes and women who had long suffered discrimination and exclusion.
Inspired by his vision of social democracy—grounded in liberty, equality, and fraternity—the Society is committed to advancing constitutional values and ensuring that the rights guaranteed by the Constitution are meaningfully realized at the grassroots level.
The Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society, Jaipur, Rajasthan, functions as an apex body representing the Scheduled Caste community in the State of Rajasthan. The Society is headquartered at the Institutional Area, Jhalana Doongri, Jaipur. Established in 1980–81, it was founded with a clear mandate to translate Dr. Ambedkar’s mission into sustained social action through organized community effort, institutional development, and public engagement.
